Summary of Misconduct:
Mr. Levine, who was admitted in 1981, was disbarred on consent. He misappropriated $65,000 from settlement proceeds received on behalf of a client. He has been suspended on an interim basis since August 23, 2006.
Order of the Court:
The motion by Marc Erwin Levine to strike his name from the roll of attorneys licensed to practice law in Illinois pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 762(a) is allowed, effective immediately.
