AUTOMOBILES AND MOTOR VEHICLES, § 117.1[*] — findings as to intersection collision as contrary to weight of evidence.
Court’s findings, in action involving intersection collision in city, that defendants’ driver was negligent and that plaintiff was not contributorily negligent were not contrary to manifest weight of evidence, where plaintiff as well as her guests testified that she stopped her car upon approaching intersection, looked both to her right and left and, when about two-thirds of way across intersection, was struck by defendants’ car approaching from her right at 25 to 30 miles per hour, and defendants’ driver testified that he was traveling in excess of 20 miles per hour.
Appeal from the Circuit Court of Winnebago county; the Hon. WILLIAM R. DUSHER, Judge, presiding.
Affirmed. Heard in this court at the February term, 1947.
