In the exercise of this court’s supervisory authority, the Appellate Court, Third District, is directed to vacate its judgment in People v. Guy, No. 3-05-0564 (August 23, 2007). The appellate court is directed to determine whether defendant’s pro se “Motion to Preserve Issues for Appeal” was timely. If the motion was timely, the appellate court is directed to remand the cause to the circuit court for an examination of defendant’s claims of ineffective assistance of counsel set forth in the motion, pursuant to People v. Moore, 207 Ill. 2d 68 (2003).
