In the exercise of this court’s supervisory authority, the Appellate Court, Third District, is directed to vacate its order in People v. Nelson, No. 3-98-0751 (September 1, 2000), affirming the dismissal of defendant’s post-conviction petition. The appellate court is further ordered to remand the matter to the circuit court with directions to allow the defendant to amend her petition for post-conviction relief to include a challenge to her conviction based upon People v. Pollock, 202 Ill. 2d 189 (2002), and a challenge to her sentence under Apprendi v. New Jersey, 530 U.S. 466
(2000).
