Gen. No. 43,477. (Abstract of Decision.)Appellate Court of Illinois, First District.
Opinion filed April 24, 1946 Rehearing denied May 10, 1946 Released for publication May 10, 1946

PROSTITUTION AND PANDERING, § 2[*] when information charging solicitation to prostitution was void. Where information charged defendant with statutory crime of solicitation to prostitution “at 2740 Sheffield Avenue” and did not name person solicited, held that fact that statute applied only to persons who solicited to prostitution in public and whether address given was public or private place could not be determined from information, and also failure to name person solicited, rendered information void (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1945, ch. 38, par. 163; Jones Ill. Stats. Ann. 37.129).
